Pearls

• Simple: No associated fractures.
• Complex: Associated with fractures.

"Terrible Triad": complex dislocation with fractures of the radial head, the coronoid and a medial collateral ligament tear. These have very bad (some say terrible) long term outcomes.

Skin should be evaluated closely for open injury.
