Pearls

Do not require reduction:

1. <15° lateral or <20° dorsal angulation
2. <5-10mm displacement

Forearm position for splinting:

1. Apex-volar angulation: pronation
2. Apex-dorsal angulation: supination

Children >10 years-old can tolerate less displacement and angulation.
Rotational deformities do not typically correct with growth.

Pediatric patients can be placed in a bivalved cast if expertise is available.
