Pearls

• Typically seen in adolescent throwing athletes.
• Fractures with >5mm (>2mm in throwing athletes) displacement typically treated surgically.
• Can be associated with elbow dislocation.

Pediatrics:
Can be difficult to discern fracture line if growth plates are not closed.
