Pediatrics: the non-ossified proximal pole of the scaphoid can mimic the appearance a scapholunate ligament injury.
Complications
Missed injuries can lead to scapholunate advanced collapse (SLAC), arthritis and reduced grip strength.
DISI is the complication of chronic scapholunate ligament injury.
