Pearls

• All patients should be non-weight bearing.
• Non- or minimally-displaced fractures can be considered for non-operative management.

Pediatrics:
Most Salter-Harris (SH) I & II fractures will be treated with closed reduction and immobilization while most SH III & IV will require open reduction.
